Description This sealing compound is the closest equivalent to the sealant available seperately for the T3 Petrol (WBX) cylinder head nuts which is included in the gasket sets. Solvent-free CurilTM T2 can be reshaped repeatedly, i.e. it is permanently plastic, as no hardening occurs. This gives it an immediate sealing effect after fitting, with no waiting or airing time. Dismantling is easy as the old sealant can simply be removed from the application surface. It is ideally suited for: • Surface sealing, e.g. flange connections or covers that have to be opened and resealed frequently due to maintenance intervals • All plastic surfaces, including PE, PP, PTFE, as well as materials that release plasticizers, e.g. EPDM, APTK, neoprene, butyl, insulating coats and foams Provided the maximum sealing gap and the maximum temperature range are observed, Curil™ T2 is a genuine universal sealant. Tips for perfect sealing: • Clean and degrease the surface • Apply evenly and with no gaps • Spread with a brush or foam roller • Apply a sealant coat at least 0.2 mm thick • Remove excess sealant with a cloth after fitting
