That said, the GORE-TEX approved system is one of the best – if not the best – available in motorcycle clothing. When opened, the Aquadefence system allows direct ventilation to the body. When the zipper or panel is closed, it fastens onto the incorporated rain gutter. The jacket is then 100% wind and waterproof. Measure chest circumference and divide the measurement by two; 2. Measure garment flat on chest line; 3. If the difference between point 1 and point 2 is 12 centimeters or bigger the garment is suitable to wear on top of the airbag. In order to create space for the expansion of the airbag, you can remove all separate layers (thermal liners, water proof liners) that can restrict the expansion of the airbag in the event of a crash.
